Size guide

This guide covers necklace lengths, ring sizing, bracelet fit and hoop sizes. If you are between sizes or unsure, write to us before you order and we will help.

Necklaces

The Mother-of-Pearl Inlay Pendant comes in two lengths. Where a necklace sits depends on your neck and shoulders, so treat the table as a starting point.

To check at home, lay a piece of string around your neck where you would like the pendant to fall, then measure the string flat against a ruler.

The Song Brocade Pendant hangs on a long chain. Write to us if you would like its exact length before ordering.

Rings

The Lacquer Signet Ring comes in sizes 5, 6, 7 and 8. Measure your finger in millimetres using one of the methods below, and we will confirm the size that fits.

Measure with a strip of paper

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper, about 5 mm wide and 10 cm long.
  2. Wrap it around the base of the finger you want to wear the ring on. It should be snug but slide over your knuckle.
  3. Mark where the paper overlaps.
  4. Lay the strip flat and measure from the end to the mark in millimetres. This is your inner circumference.
  5. Write to us with the figure.

Measure a ring you already own

  1. Choose a ring that fits the finger you have in mind.
  2. Place it on a ruler and measure straight across the inside, edge to edge, in millimetres. This is the inner diameter.
  3. Write to us with the figure.

A few tips

  • Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest, and not when your hands are cold.
  • If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, choose a size that passes over the knuckle.
  • If you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one.
  • Measure two or three times to be sure.

Bracelets

The Lacquer Bead Bracelet comes in cinnabar or black lacquer and closes with a sterling silver clasp.

To find your wrist size, wrap a strip of paper or a soft tape measure around your wrist just above the wrist bone, then measure it flat. Add about 1 to 2 cm for a comfortable fit.

Hoops

The Song Brocade Hoops come in two sizes, Small and Medium.
