A sculpted gold-tone leaf, rippled and finely lined, sits at the ear as a stud. From it hangs a round bead of deep olive-green lacquer, flecked with green and gold that catch the light as it moves, finished with a small gold-tone cap at the base.

Each bead is built on a sandalwood core, coated in natural lacquer and laid with gold leaf by hand. The studs are fitted with 14k gold findings. Because the lacquer and leaf settle differently on every bead, each piece varies a little in colour and pattern, and photographs are for reference.

The story
A deep olive-green lacquer bead is built on a sandalwood core and laid with gold leaf by hand, so flecks of green and gold catch the light as it moves. The leaf settles differently on every bead, and each one is unique. It hangs from a sculpted, rippled gold-tone leaf stud on 14k gold findings, a fuller drop of about 4 cm that shows well with hair worn up.

Technique
Gold leaf is laid by hand into green-toned natural lacquer on a carved sandalwood core. Each bead hangs from a sculpted leaf stud on 14k gold findings.
Care
Keep dry and away from perfume, lotion and heat. Do not leave in strong sunlight. Wipe with a soft dry cloth and store alone in its pouch.
